Metamorphosis

"Metamorphosis" is a 3D finite/level-based runner game inspired by endless runner games such as Temple Run and Subway Surfers, which move and spawn the following area instead of the character itself but ends after a condition is met. In the game, players take the role of a caterpillar traversing through the sides of a tree, trying to survive the rough life of a crawler. As they move through the environment, they must avoid obstacles such as birds and branches to avoid losing the game and earn points by collecting leaves. Green and gold leaves give the player 5 and 10 points, respectively. When players accumulate 50 points, they win, and the game ends as the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. The game records the player's time upon winning, aiming to beat the fastest previous run if one exists. The end screen ranks the score on a leaderboard of prior plays.
